Designing and implementing research, experimental management, and long-term monitoring programs for rare plant and animal species and sensitive habitats, including prescribed burns and rare plant introductions
Surveys
and Assessments
Conducting biological surveys, habitat assessments and characterizations, and mapping studies for rare species, natural communities, and sensitive habitats, to inform the design of conservation projects as well as development, utility, and infrastructure projects
Environmental Permitting
and Compliance
Preparing environmental compliance and permitting documents required under the federal and California Endangered Species Act (ESA and CESA), California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA), and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), as well as other local, state, and federal regulations
Baseline Documentation Reports
Preparing baseline documentation reports and accompanying spatial databases to establish the baseline conditions of preserves and facilitate conservation easement monitoring
Geographic Information Systems Analysis
Conducting spatial analyses, modelling, and cartography using Geographic Information Systems (GIS), to analyze, plan, and communicate our projects
Biological Construction Monitoring and Species Protection
Providing support for construction projects, including by implementing species protection measures, biological monitoring, and post-project restoration
